Boruto: Naruto the Movie – Leaf Village, Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki

Beginning in chapter 700 of the Naruto manga, we see the home of our hero, Naruto Uzumaki, has been modernized! Masashi Kishimoto’s currently-running Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring has shown a bit more the new village, but if we don’t see anymore there, we will surely see it in Boruto: Naruto the Movie! New sketches from Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine show the streets of the Hidden Leaf Village has many tall buildings and shops now. The second sketch actually shows the heart of downtown Hidden Leaf where residents can spend time enjoying a movie at the theater.

Also released is art of the future teammates Boruto Uzumaki, Sarada Uchiha, and Mitsuki. We all know Boruto is the son of Naruto and Hinata, while Sarada is the daughter of Sasuke and (allegedly) Sakura. Not much is known about Mitsuki at this point in time, but it has been revealed his family has recently moved to the Hidden Leaf and he is said to be a smart, composed, and mysterious boy.

Boruto: Naruto the Movie hits theater in Japan on August 7, 2015. Madman Entertainment has announced the movie will also make its way to Australia later this year. No word on if or when the movie will make its way to North America, but Saiyan Island hopes to have the latest details as soon as they are available!
