English “Shonen Jump” Presents Special Behind-The-Scenes and Plans New Round of “Jump Start”

The Japanese edition of Shonen Jump doubled-up for an issue 22/23 last week in order to take off this week’s Golden Week string of public holidays. So, without any new adventures of Luffy, Ichigo, Toriko and company to offer, Viz’s English Weekly Shonen Jump has presented a special May 4th issue with the latest Blue Excorcist and Seraph of the End (both of which run in the montly Jump Square in Japan), along with behind-scenes “The Right Way to Make Jump,” originally from the digital Jump+.

Viz is also planning on running “Jump Start” three episode samples at least two of the new Jump series, that will debut new series in Japanese issues 24, 25 and 26, respectively dance themed Sesuji wo Pin! to〜Kyougi Dance-bu e Youkoso〜 by Takuma Yokota aka Yoko, author of Onani Master Kurosawa and Sentou Hakai Gakuen Dangerous; Lady Justice by Ken Ogino (Hayate hime); and 9th Golden Future Cup winner Devily-man by Kentaro Fukuda. And, it looks like the expected series are being cleared away to make room.
