Live-action Hyouka movie gets a brand new trailer

The mystery-solving Classic Literature Club are getting their own live-action versions with the upcoming Hyouka film. Now, a month ahead of its November 3 premiere, Kadokawa has released a brand new TV trailer for the upcoming movie. It introduces us to the main cast, including Oreki and Chitanda. Here it is:

Kento Yamazaki once again plays the protagonist from an anime, this time as Houtarou Oreki. Meanwhile, actress Alice Hirose plays main heroine, Eru Chitanda. Both actors are also featured in the movie’s new poster visual.

Based on Honobu Yonezawa’s Koten-bu novels, the movie will follow the members of the literature club, which includes the ever-curious Eru Chitanda, and genius-but-lazy Houtarou Oreki. The movie will premiere on November 3, 2017, with Zero the Movie’s Mari Asato directing it.
