‘One Punch Man Season 2’ Release Date, Trailer, Details

Hey everyone! I’m going to share the latest news about One Punch Man Season 2. Its been ages since the first season ended and every now and then the rumours have been that the season 2 will be released shortly. Fortunately this year the rumours have some truth behind them and I can say for certain the Season 2 of One Punch Man will be released this year.

It seems One Punch Man Season 2 will be out by Summer, or Fall of 2018. Some of you may be aware of the AnimeJapan 2018 event that is going on right now. Almost every big announcement that is made is done at AnimeJapan event every year, and this year is no different. One Punch Man too made two huge announcements recently. The first piece of information that came out way was that Hikaru Hidorikawa has been cast as Garou in the anime. Garo has a major role to play in the series, and all fans know that already. Now for the bigger news, One Punch Man’s social media page confirmed that an anime event will take place later in August, specifically on August 12.

The character designer for One Punch Man anime also teased the ongoing work on series, and when asked if he was working on One Punch Man, he confirmed that he is. All this information came thanks to a convention, where a fans asked the character designer various questions.

The name of the gathering is ‘One Punch Man Maji Gakuensai’. We are likely going to get a trailer during the event, and that is what has most fans hyped right now.More likely than not, the anime is going to get a release date in August, so even if the anime doesn’t premiere this year, we’re definitely going to know the release date, thanks to the event.

“Kubota told me that the FLCL 2 trailer is finished and should be made public in the next week or so. As for One Punch Man 2, he answered it would be before Evangelion Final.”

For those unfamiliar with One Punch Man, the series follows Saitama, a regular working Joe who one day puts a stop to a violent villain attack. After this fight Saitama is inspired to become a hero. Training his body hard everyday, he’s eventually granted with extreme strength. Looking for a worthy opponent, Saitama joins the Hero Association in the hopes of fighting them. But every fight he gets into ends after a single punch! Forced to wander through life increasingly bored of his supreme power, Saitama has become hilariously disconnected with the world of action around him.
