Dragon Ball returns with a new TV anime for the first time in 18 years with this summer’s Super. A first short teaser with a sample of the opening aired this weekend during Fuji TV’s broadcast of Dragon Ball Kai Episode 157.
Kimitoshi Chioka directs the production, featuring story and characters by series creator Akira Toriyama. So far, cast includes the returning Goku voice actress Masako Nozawa.
Japanese band Good Morning America, who performed Dragon Ball Z Kai (Buu Edition) ending “Dear Zarathustra” will be returning for “Hello Hello Hello” on this summer’s new Dragon Ball Super TV anime. They’re joined by The Yellow Monkey vocalist Kazuya Yoshii on the opening “Chōzetsu ☆ Dynamic !!”
