Here are 10 more anime for older audiences.

1. Jormungand

The show follows Koko Hekmatyar, an arms dealer who sells weapons under the alias of an international shipping corporation.

She travels through various countries while avoiding local authorizes and law enforcement agencies due to her illegal arms trade work.

Along with her, we meet her team of bodyguards who are ex-militants from various parts of the world.

The story kicks off when a child soldier, Jonah, joins the team.

It’s a pretty groovy action series with some heart as well as laughs that explores the truly disciple side of humanity.

2. Natsume’s Book of Friends

This is one of the more mellow animes on our list. The story follows a young man named Natsume who has inherited the ability to see spirits from his Grandmother Reiko.

So, his life has been filled with trouble from this ability. He’s moved from relative to relative due to his troublesome behavior because of his interactions with spirits.

So, the story follows Natsume in his most recent foster home in the town his grandmother was born.

Here he discovers that his grandmother was a ruthless bully who forced spirits to sign their names into a “Book of Friends”to gain control of them.

The story follows Natsume has he tries to live a normal life while having to deal with the antics of spirits, other psychics and the power of the book of friends.

We’d recommend this for a lazy afternoon. It’s a very relaxed and charming story.

3. Steins;Gate

Here we meet Rintaro Okabe, an eccentric college student who likens himself to a mad scientist.

This story is very heavy on human relationships, and how they can affect others.

The show follows Okabe and his group as they meet more people and dive into the science of time travelling.

It’s a very amazing show, we recommend it completely.

It may seem like a slice of life at first, but half way through, everything changes.

we can’t reveal much without spoiling the show, but I’d give it a shot.

wewould watch the English dub of this. The actors are amazing and put a lot of energy into the roles.

4. Black Lagoon

Want to blank out for a couple of hours and wake up feeling like a bad ass action hero with an adrenaline rush the size of a tsunami?

Well, this is the show for you. This is a pure mindless action and thriller anime with some moments of character development, but let’s be honest, we’re all watching for the badass action.

This show is for when you just want to see shit explode and be awesome.

we’d recommend it if you’re ever feeling a bit down. Explosions make everything better!

In all seriousness, the characters are all pretty likable and awesome, so we’d recommend it.

The story follows a group of modern day pirates and the Japanese businessman they’ve kidnapped.

5. Mushishi

This story follows a man named “Ginko” who travels around from place to place to research mysterious beings known as “Mushi” and help solve the problems caused by them.

Mushi are a primitive supernatural creation that most people cannot even perceive. Over all, its very episodic, so don’t expect a lot of reoccurring characters.
