The 10th Strawhat Pirate Has Finally Been Confirmed

Hey everyone! Today, I wanna talk about the Strawhat Pirates, and their 10th member. The Strawhat Pirates hail from East Blue, and they are led by their Captain Monkey D Luffy. Roronoa Zoro is the first mate of this Pirate crew. Along the way, Luffy has recruited many Nakama. Back in East Blue, he recruited Roronoa Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji.

Then once he entered the Grand Line, Luffy recruited Tony Tony Chopper, and after him, Robin. Finally, at Water 7, Franky joined the Strawhat Pirates as the Shipwright, and then Brook became the last recruit, and the musician of the crew. After the 2 year time skip, Luffy has not yet officially recruited a new member. But, I guess everyone knows who the 10th Strawhat is going to be.

As of now, everyone hopes that the 10th Strawhat will be Jinbe, the Knight of Sea. Luffy had previously asked Jinbe to become a Nakama at Fishman Island, but he had unfinished business with Big Mom. So, a lot of people didn’t know that Jinbe will be back as soon as Whole Cake Island arc. There, he finally ended things with Big Mom, and even though at first he didn’t want to leave because he had to pay a price, he forced his way out later.

With offering his resignation, I think Jinbe is the 10th member of the Strawhat Pirates. But, as always there is a bunch of fans who just don’t want to agree to the fact that Jinbe is the 10th Strawhat. Many don’t want Jinbe to join, because he doesn’t fit the theme of Strawhats, or something. There are even some who want him to die at Whole Cake Island.

However, now, we have an official confirmation that Jinbe is indeed the 10th Strawhat. This comes from Sandman_AP, on Twitter, who is a One Piece translator. According to Sandman, Jinbe is officially a Strawhat Pirate now, as he was introduced as a crewmate in Kurumazaki Shrine known as a spiritual spot for entertainment industry in Japan. People needed to pay 90 dollars to get Jinbe’s name featured on the red fence. The Shonen Jump office themselves paid for it.

Thanks to Sandman, we have official confirmation that Jinbe is indeed the 10th Strawhat. So, that puts all the rumors surrounding his death to bed. I personally wanted Jinbe to be a crewmate ever since he was revealed at Impel Down. He will also play a key role in the Strawhat Pirates in the future, and I would absolutely love to see him fighting strong members, and taking part in the War of Wano Country.
