Awakening Of Brook’s Devil Fruit, Yomi Yomi No Mi : Shinigami

Brook’s power is Life or some kind of two-sided Yin and Yang thing that he is unaware of. But when I was making this I had to ask myself what Brook’s power is? It’s so undefined what its actual capabilities are.
I mean who expected what he has shown with it so far Post-time skip?

Brook’s Devil Fruit Powers

Paramecia-type Devil Fruit which enhances the user’s soul to the point where they can come back to life after dying once, remaining alive until their body is sufficiently damaged, and to use several other soul-based abilities, making the user a Reviving Human. The name is acquired from Yomigaeru, suggesting “Resurrection,” also, Yomi is the name of the Japanese underworld.

I believe Brook’s fruit inspires his soul with powerful energy, that he is only now mastering to manipulate. This power can support life itself, as well as a freezing effect when used to other things through attacks. Making the opinion that this energy is a “life” energy, then we can assume that all living entities in One Piece have some of this power, although likely not as powerful as Brook’s, within them.

So, Brook has been given the ability to control it and use its power. But currently, he is restricted to himself only. Increasing this again, based on Doflamingo’s explanation, Brook will increase his control of this energy to everything around him through awakening. Allowing the ability to present upon and take this energy from other living beings and the environment. As a limitation, he presumably won’t be able to make it from living beings except freely.

The two-fold power of this will change both skills of fighting Brook currently uses. His swordsmanship and his music. By offering this energy to other things that are dead, He may be capable of causing a temporary revival and being able to control these resurrected beings completely. But also he may be able to attach to the soul of someone that he is struggling and have even higher control of their will through music.

And for his physical abilities, he could take this energy from the area around him, mainly increasing the speed, power, and level of freezing effect from his swordsmanship. Also giving him reconstructive abilities far beyond where he currently is and what he can manage with his own soul energy.
