Code Geass Season 3 Release Date,Story and New Details

Code Geass’s first episode was aired on 5th October 2006 and Code Geass Season 3 is set to air at fall of 2018.Code Geass is a Japanese anime series created by Sunrise, directed by Gorō Taniguchi, and written by Ichirō Ōkouchi, with original character designs by manga authors Clamp.

Set in an alternate timeline, Code Geass series focused on how Lelouch vi Britannia obtains a power known as Geass and decides to use it to obliterate the Holy Britannian Empire, a superpower that has been conquering various countries.

The official Twitter account for the Code Geass anime franchise revealed on Sunday that the English subtitle for the Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch sequel project is “Re: surrection.” The account further revealed that the official English subtitles for the previous three compilation films are “Initiation,” “Transgression,” and “Glorification,” and that the sequel’s “Re: surrection” subtitle is a continuation of the theme of those subtitles.

Code Geass Season 3 will consist of the three compilation films that are titled, in order of continuity of Code Geass R2 which last aired in 2008.These films consist the story of Code Geas R1 and R2 combined in 3 parts and will be proceded with Code Geass Season 3 which is titled Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch.The three-part films are named in order:

  • Code Geass – Hangyaku no Lelouch – Kōdō

  • Code Geass – Hangyaku no Lelouch – Handō

The first film opened in Japan last October, and the second opened on February 10. The third film opens on May 26.The films recap all 50 episodes of both Code Geass series. The cast is re-recording all their lines for the films, and the films include new scenes.
