Dragon Ball Legends has become one of the most highly anticipated mobile games for 2018 for a number of reasons, with the main one being the games new villain.

The game which is being created by Bandai Namco is set to be released later this year and showcases a villain who looks strikingly similar to the character we got to see a glimpse of in the Dragon Ball Super movie teaser.

The new Saiyan we saw in the trailer seemed to be well before Goku’s timeline but was about to face Goku and had a familiar green aura.

In addition, the main character of the Dragon Ball Legends game and the new mysterious Saiyan in the movie teaser were released during the same week, with Bandai announcing that they had seen the character design for the film drawn by Akira Toriyama himself before the teaser was even released.

Until it’s confirmed whether or not these two mysterious Saiyans are in fact the same person, we can assume that they are. However, until an official confirmation is made we can speculate.

Meanwhile, something new was released by Bandai Namco in relation to their new character for the Dragon Ball Legends game.

What was released was the new Saiyan’s name, with the Saiyan being called Shallot, however; nothing else is known about him.

As a result, this Saiyan is still mysterious, but we do know that he will play a major role in the Dragon Ball Legends game and he will be a controllable character, which can be customised.

Dragon Ball Legends will be the second Dragon Ball game that Bandai release in 2018, with Dragon Ball Fighter Z still only being three months old.

However, despite Dragon Ball Super momentarily ending, there is still a lot of hype surrounding the Dragon Ball franchise, which is mainly due to this upcoming game and the movie at the end of the year.
