So far, Toei hasn’t announced the return of Dragon Ball Super anime, but many have speculated that it will return in Winter 2021, three years after Dragon Ball Super: Broly premiered in Japan. Hopefully, the studio will make an official announcement by mid of 2021.

Who would be the new villains in the new Dragon Ball Super episodes? 

If you’ve been keeping up with the Dragon Ball Super manga series, you already know that the arc following the Universal Survival saga is the Galactic Patrol Prisoner saga, which takes the Z-fighters to space and back to Earth, and introduces the villainous goat-looking wizard named Moro. A few years before the end of the Dragon Ball Super: Broly Saga, and around the destruction of Kid Buu by Goku, the Grand Supreme Kai’s seal on Moro’s magic broke, allowing him to beak out of the Galactic Patrol’s prison. The new episodes of Dragon Ball Super would most likely follow this saga, which just concluded in the manga in 2020.

There are also a bunch of other prisoners who escaped from the Galactic Patrol’s prison, and the new episodes will most likely feature them fighting the Z-fighters in planet Earth.

What’s the current saga in the Dragon Ball Super manga now? 

After the conclusion of the Galactic Patrol Prisoner arc, the Dragon Ball Super manga continues with a brand new arc called Granolah the Survivor Saga, which introduces Granolah, the sole survivor of the Cerealian race that was annhilated by the Saiyan army. Will Goku unleash his Ultra Instinct form again? 

Goku unleashes his complete Ultra Instinct form during the Tournament of Power Saga while fighting the powerful Jiren, but at the end of the anime series, it seems that he had lost his ability to go into Ultra Instinct. After all, this powerful form was brought out by extreme stress in his battle against Jiren.

If you’ve read the Galactic Patrol Prisoner saga, you’d know that Goku’s Ultra Instinct form will return, but will he be able to fully master it so he can unleash it at will? You’d have to read the manga to find out.

What about Vegeta? Will he get a new form? 

Although the manga doesn’t show Vegeta get an Ultra Instinct form, he still gets some serious training with the Yardrat, the same beings who taught Goku Instant Transmission. He also learns a new technique called the Forced Spirit Fission, and uses it in his fight against Moro.
