Fairy Tail’s manga and anime to run the same story in the very same week

In a rare event of sorts, Fairy Tail’s original source manga and its anime adaptation will be featuring the exact same story within the same week because issue #17 of Weekly Shounen Magazine, which was released yesterday, had a bonus chapter, and that bonus chapter will be animated in the next episode of the Fairy Tail anime

That very episode will be aired this Saturday, March 28, 2015, just a few days after the bonus chapter was released along with the main Fairy Tail manga chapter. Titled “Fairy Tail of the Dead Meeeeeeeeen“, is also written and illustrated by the series creator himself, Hiro Mashima.

Speaking of the anime, it will finally be done showing filler episodes starting with this week’s broadcast and will finally begin the much-anticipated Tartaros arc this April 4, 2015.
