During the One Piece timeskip, Makino had a child. She was seen in Foosha Village holding her baby while the citizens rejoiced about Luffy’s return.
The most famous theory out there is that the child is Shanks’ and Makino’s son mainly because Oda answered someone’s question in the SBS by saying that Makino’s child is “probably that person”.
It is worth noting that the manga official coloring showed a ‘kind of’ brown (green+red) hair colour to Makino’s child.
But let’s get to the most important thing. Chapter 806 & Chapter 838 cover pages could be a strong clue to support the popular theory that Shanks is the father of Makino’s baby.
