Very first PV for Vitreous Flower Destroy the World anime streamed

With the mysterious countdown to its announcement now over and the anime movie known as Vitreous Flower Destroy the World, or Glass no Hana to Kowasu Sekai, now official, Pony Canyon’s official youtube chanel has started streaming its very first PV

This new anime movie caught the attention of many anime fans when Pony Canyon opened a mysterious countdown website last January. The video announced that the anime movie will premiere in Japanese theaters sometime later this year and talked about the “restoration of the world to its original state”.

Vitreous Flower Destroy the World will be based on D.Back-up, an illustration project by Physics Point, which won Pony Canyon’s Anime-ka Taishou Prize back in 2013, and is awarded an anime adaptation. The teaser site caused a lot of stir in Japan as many had no idea what this new countdown site will be revealing.

A-1 Pictures will be producing the animation with Masashi Ishihama (From the New World) at the helm as the director. Clannad writer, Fumiko Shino, will be writing the screenplay while Hentai Prince character designer, Kantoku, is responsible for the character designs.
