Do you love anime or manga and ever dream of getting a job in such industry at least one time and want to live in the cool place like Japan? Well, it is not an easy industry to get into for foreigners due to the work permit. But now it is possible for foreigners with anime-related jobs to get Permanent Japanese residence in just after one year of working status.
Being a huge Japanophile. Despite we never really have been there we really obsessed with Japan, the food, culture, temples, technology, architecture. We love it all and Japanese art played a predominant role in it.
While taking notice of this trend the Japanese Ministry of Justice plans to give highly skilled foreign people permanent residency after they work in Japan for just in one year, hoping to attract more highly skilled workers from overseas and from 2018, the implementation of evicting the restrictions for the requirements for permanent residency for the highly skilled foreigner.
The Bureau launched new points-based system for highly skilled foreign workers earlier this year for skilled applicants in advanced academic research activities, advanced specialized/technical activities, and advance business management activities who need to work at least five years in Japan for permanent residency. A highly-skilled person who scores 70 points will require three years to become eligible for permanent residency, 80 points will need to stay in Japan for only a year, and so on.
Under the new rules, permanent residency for “Cool Japan human resources,” requires at least one year working in Japan before you can apply. “Cool Japan” policy is to promote Japanese culture throughout the world.
Ever think of working and living in Japan. If so, then this like a dream come true for those who do, but before that, you still have one year of working in Japan and don’t forget the “highly skilled” part too.
