Get ready to meet Hikari Kongō because Himouto! Umaru-chan is returning for a second TV anime adaptation of Sankaku Head’s comedy manga. Plans were announced as the cast reunited for a broadcast to promote the release of an OAD, set to be released with volume 10 of the manga on April 19.
The new season is planned for fall 2017, with staff from the summer 2015 TV anime returning, including director Masahiko Ohta, composition writer Takashi Aoshima, character designer Aya Takano and studio Doga Kobo.
It has been announced that a second season for the comedy “Himouto! Umaru-Chan” is in the works and will air this fall season. At the same time a promotional video has been uploaded, which you can see bellow:
Doga Kobo adapted the manga into a 12 episode season that aired in Summer 2015. They will return to produce the second, which will also feature the same voice cast and staff.
