A Major Character Might Die In Next Boruto Chapter

Hey everyone! In this post, I want to talk about Boruto chapter 20, and chapter 21. Chapter 20 released this month, just a couple of days ago. If you haven’t checked that out already, please do so. This post will also contain potential spoilers from the next Boruto chapter, so please continue at your own risk.

Boruto Chapter 20 saw an epic fight between Konohamaru and Ao begin. It was during this chapter that we got to see how far Ao has come. With the Ninja technology, he has really become a powerful character. Konohamaru had a lot of trouble dealing with this guy, and he truly was a monster. In fact, Konohamaru was left injured, and had to retreat.

Despite the sacrifice of a Konoha Jonin, Ao is still pursuing the Konoha ninjas, but it looks like Boruto Uzumaki and Konohamaru Sarutobi want to stop him in his ways, while the rest go ahead and take the information to Konohagakure. The next chapter will see Boruto Uzumaki fight against Ao.

Their clash was foreshadowed ever since the Ao arc began, and now it seems more likely than ever. I think Boruto Uzumaki will emerge victorious here. He has already fought Ao once, and was cast aside without any trouble. However, this time, things will be different.

I also think that we’ll see the first major death in Boruto in the next episode. I think Ao is probably going to die. He survived the 4th Great Ninja War somehow, and half his body is made of prosthetic. Ao’s only purpose is the character development of Boruto Uzumaki. Once that is done, there won’t even be a point in keeping him around. I think Ao will meet a similar fate to the one that Zabuza and Haku did. He’ll die after being redeemed.

Unfortunately, I just don’t see a role for him in the future of the series. That’s why I think they might kill him off in the next manga chapter. In any case, the manga is getting very good now. The quality is improving, and I think the future of the Boruto anime is going to be very bright. For now, we are stuck with anime only content. It will take a while for them to begin an adaptation of the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations series. But, hopefully that will happen come April.
