The Naruto manga may have ended almost two years ago. But it seems that the spirit of the franchise continues.

This coming winter, it will continue on in TV anime form as well. The Weekly Shonen Jump has confirmed (via Anime News Network) that three of the epilogue stories will be animated for TV.

The stories, dubbed to the be the Hidden and True Stories, include Shikamaru Hiden, Hinata’s Konoha Hiden, and Sasuke Shinden. According to the source, there are 10 novel volumes that have already been released following the last chapter of the Naruto manga.

The Hiden series already have six volumes, each of which will highlight characters including Gaara, Sakura, Kakashi, Shikamaru, and ninjas from the Konoha and the Akatsuki organization. The rollout of these epilogue stories began in February 2015, with each month seeing a new volume until July 2015.

For the Shinden novel series, there are three volumes, two of which are Itachi Shinden volumes, plus the Sasuke Shinden.

Currently, Naruto Shippuden TV anime is still running. The latest episode actually has the biggest reveal in the anime version, as it has finally shown Kakashi’s face. Fans who may be wondering if this is the real face need not worry—it’s not a repeat of the episode wherein Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura all tried to unmask their sensei.
