Did One Piece Just Hint Towards The Appearance of [SPOILER]?

Hey guys. One Piece fans have received a lot of news during the past few days. All of the news was pretty amazing and the fans thoroughly enjoyed the news. Well, today I am here to talk about something really big. First of all, let’s go through Eiichiro Oda’s interview at the Super Stage. Here’s what Oda said—
“During the next year, I’ll be introducing a legend that’s been lying dormant in the One Piece world. Perhaps he’ll be related to Whitebeard. Marineford will look cute compared to what’s to come.”
If that doesn’t get you excited, I don’t know what will. We know how great the Marineford arc was. It had everything that a person could want. To be such a comparison is not a joke, so the next arc is going to be top quality. The Whitebeard connection is certainly interesting. A lot of people have come forward and hinted towards the involvement of various characters. Similarly, I have a character who I think will be involved in the next arc. This mysterious character is Edward Weevil.

Edward Weevil is the self proclaimed son of Edward Newgate. Edward Newgate, better known as Whitebeard was one of the four Yonkou, who rule over the New World. He was killed by Blackbeard at Marineford. I must say, that I didn’t expect the arc to end in that fashion. Anyway after the time-skip we saw Whitebeard’s “real” son. His name is Edward Weevil. He claims to be the son of Whitebeard. Weevil is very powerful despite his appearance.

He has already taken down several pirates who were affiliated with Whitebeard. His motive is to get ahold of Whitebeard’s fortunes. Weevil’s strength and been compared to that of his father, Edward Newgate in his prime. This comparison was made by Navy Admiral Kizaru, who is the oldest Marine Admiral. So, he knows what he’s talking about. I personally think that Weevil will be appearing soon as Luffy is known to have fought alongside Whitebeard at Marineford in order to rescue his brother, Ace. After the events at Whole Cake Island, it’s very likely that Weevil will try to fight Luffy.

Also, I’d like to mention that Weevil is a Shichibukai and he has a bounty of 480,000,000 beris. It is the highest known former bounty of a Shichibukai. Weevil is certainly going be one of the greatest threats that Luffy and co. are going to face.
