One Piece Reverie Arc Release Date, Admiral Ryokugyu Appears

Since Whole Cake Island is close to its end now, we will begin with a new arc soon. The next stop should either be Wano, or Reverie and if it is Reverie we have a lot to look up to from Chapter 903 of One Piece. Ryokugyu, or Green Bull, is one of the two Marine Admirals who was elected via the World Government draft during the two-year time skip in One Piece.

One Piece Reverie Arc Release Date

The release date for Reverie Arc is still not confirmed but it is possible that from One Piece manga chapter 903, we are either going to get Reverie or Wano, so keep your fingers crossed.

All this happened when Sengoku resigned as the Fleet Admiral of the Marines, and Akainu and Aokiji fought for the spot. After having fought for 10 days, Aokiji lost the fight, and Akainu was made the Fleet Admiral. Aokiji left the Marines, and this opened up two spots for Admirals within the ranks of the Marines. Fujitora and Ryokugyu stepped in, and it is said that both of them are very capable Admirals.

According to Doflamingo, they are real monsters, and a force to be reckoned with. We’ve already seen Fujitora do bits, here and there.

He was present for the majority of the Dressrosa arc, and he even fought a couple of characters. Fujitora was shown to be very powerful, and even his abilities were revealed. He has a Devil Fruit that allows him to control Gravity at will. I’m pretty sure Fujitora will make a huge impact in the story of One Piece as we go forward, but from now, let’s talk about the other Admiral, Ryokugyu. I think it has been established that all Marine Admirals have Devil Fruits.

Admiral Ryokugyu ‘Green Bull’ and His Devil Fruit

We haven’t seen one without any Devil Fruit power so far. Sengoku, Akainu, Fujitora, Aokoji, Kizaru all had Devil Fruit powers. An exception to this would be Zephyr. But, he isn’t a part of the story anymore. It is very easy to predict that Ryokugyu will have a devil fruit. Most people believe that he will have a Zoan bull devil fruit or something along those lines. But that’s actually not true.

When you look at it, no Marine Admiral had a Devil Fruit that related to their epithet. Kizaru means Yellow Monkey, yet he doesn’t have a monkey Devil Fruit. But, his powers certainly are related to the color Yellow, and the word monkey hints at his personality. So, going by that, Ryokugyu would have a Devil Fruit that would relate to the color green, and his personality would be like that of a bull, and that would make him fierce.

So what Devil Fruit will Ryokugyu have? We have two clues. The first one is the Admiral Devil Fruit pattern. Kizaru is Logia, Fujitora is Paramecia. It would make sense if Ryokugyu is Zoan. But, not just any Zoan, and overpowered one at that. He won’t be a bull, or an animal. He will be the nature itself.

The color green only relates to nature, and I think Ryokugyu will have the power to manipulate nature. This power could be likened to Hashirama Senju from Naruto, and I think everyone will agree that it sounds really overpowered. In my opinion, this is going to be Ryokugyu’s power, and there isn’t a Devil Fruit that I think suits him more than this one.
