Princess Jellyfish has seen multiple hiatuses over the past couple years. She hasn’t drawn a main chapter since December 2015. Higashimura also drew a pair of prequel chapters and a special chapter for Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2015 before returning to hiatus. The manga is currently in its final arc, but it’s unknown if Higashimura will attempt to finish the series by the end of 2017.

Princess Jellyfish is a josei series that follows Tsukimi Kurashita, an 18-year-old otaku girl who lives in a women’s only apartment complex. She loves jellyfish and sees one in danger at a local pet store. To Tsukimi’s surprise, a beautiful woman helps Tsukimi save the jellyfish. When they go back to the Amamizukan apartments, Tsukimi is shocked to learn that the woman is actually a man named Kuranosuke Koibuchi.
