“Silver Spoon” Manga Returning This Month

Shogakukan’s Web Sunday site has announced that Fullmetal Alchemist author Hiromu Arakawa’s best-selling agricultural school manga Silver Spoon will be returning in Shonen Sunday issue 21, on sale April 22nd, ending an eight month hiatus. Plans for its 13th volume are also in the works.

The news was accompanied by an Arakawa back-stage column. She had announced plans to slow down the pace of the manga’s serializing last August, saying that she hoped to spend more time with an ailing family member.
