Sword Art Online Alicization Arc to Become Anime!

Hit light novel series Sword Art Online‘s fourth arc “Alicization” is set to receive a TV anime adaptation!

Accompanying the big news was a striking teaser visual by abec, the original series’ illustrator. Featured in the center are Kirito and Eugeo, with Asuna and others with major roles in the arc also included.

The casting for four main characters was also announced, with Matsuoka Yoshitsugu and Tomatsu Haruka to reprise their roles as Kirito and Asuna respectively. Furthermore, Kayano Ai will play Alice, and Shimazaki Nobunaga will voice Eugeo.

In addition, Aniplex has released a PV teasing the mystery behind Project Alicization, a world in which Kirito wakes up with no memory of logging in…
