Distributor Toho today posted a 90-second “Three-Dimensional Maneuvering” edition trailer for the upcoming two-part live-action film adaptation of Hajime Isayama’s mega hit manga series Attack on Titan on its YouTube channel. It features the main characters’ battles against the Titans using the gear, and a kiss scene between Mikasa (Kiko Mizuhara) and probably Kirishima (Hiroki Hasegawa), an original character for the film. Japanese theaters will start screening it from June 27.

The first part of the Shinji Higuchi-directed films, titled Shingeki no Kyojin/Attack on Titan, will open in Japan on August 1, then the second part Shingeki no Kyojin/Attack on Titan: End of the World will be released on September 19. Following the success on the TV anime’s 1st compilation film last November, the live-action films will get 4DX screenings at selected theaters as well.
