The One Punch Man Season 2 Anime is currently in production and due to be released in October 2018. Who doesn’t love a good superhero story? But what if there was a character who became so powerful that he defeated all of his opponents with a single punch? Sure he would be a great hero, but where’s the challenge? That is the basic premise of “One-Punch Man,” which follows a character named Saitama, whose unbeatable power has drained him of the thrill of combat, simply because no one can stand against him.
The One Punch Man Season 2 Anime is based on the web-comic drawn by the manga artist known as ONE and the redrawn by Yusuke Murata, the series was given an anime adaptation by Madhouse Studios in 2015, which made “One-Punch Man” a mainstream success. A second season of the anime was announced and has been in production, and fans are excited to reunite with Saitama, Genos and the rest of the Hero Association as they take on various threats to keep their world safe. With the promise of new “One-Punch Man” content on the way, Konichiwa Magazine has decided to take a look at what fans could potentially expect from season two.
The finale of “One-Punch Man” saw the heroes fighting against the alien invasion spearheaded by Lord Boros and his forces in A-City. We got to see a taste of what makes these heroes worthy of getting being in the hero association and we saw a collection of the ‘S’ ranked heroes – basically the top brass of superheroing in this world — and they certainly did not disappoint. Whether it was Atomic Samurai’s flashy sword skills or Bang’s mastery of the fabled (and amazingly-named) Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist, there was absolutely no doubt that this group was the best the Hero Association had to offer.
Heading into season two, we will be seeing more threats catastrophic enough to draw out a large number of heroes that we have yet to be introduced to. We will also be seeing more from heroes like the Tatsumaki or even lower-ranked S-Class heroes like Metal Bat with their true powers and the One Punch Man Season 2 Anime will also show us just how powerful a hero must be to become ‘S’ Ranked. Not only that, but we will also see “One-Punch Man’s” titular character when juxtaposed against this cast, through his power and his personality. Whether they’re battling blowhards or just butting heads, more of these guys and gals is on the way in the One Punch Man Season 2 Anime.
Speed-o’-Sound Sonic is a reoccurring villain and occasional anti-hero in the series, first appearing as a bodyguard hired by Zeniru and declares himself as Saitama‘s eternal rival. He will be appearing in the One Punch Man Season 2 Anime and will play a big role over the season as you will also get to know a little about his backstory and where he came from.
Yes, all the heroes in One Punch Man have to have hero names and the hero association are the people that provide each character with their hero names. In the One Punch Man Season 2 Anime both Genos and Saitama will get hero names and if you have read the Manga, you will already know what they are. It takes the hero association 2 hours to figure out what Genos and Saitama’s hero names should be, so you will not be disappointed with their selection.
Super Fight is a martial arts tournament hosted in the C-City Super Stadium every six months that invites acknowledged dojos to send members to compete. Super Fight has been used by some as a way to promote their dojos or their names. There have been 22 tournaments so far.The first Super Fight was highly publicized and had the largest amount of participation and broke all records of attendance.
You will get to see some highly ranked heroes competing in the tournament as well as several extremely strong martial-artists that haven’t been introduced in One Punch Man Season 1.
A lot of the characters will get power ups in the One Punch Man Season 2 Anime. Not only will Genos get a few tweaks along the way but a lot of characters will get huge power ups due to a monsters special ability to grant them exponential power ups if they join the side of the monsters. Without giving too much away, you are in for a treat after seeing how strong some characters become and how difficult it will be for the remaining heroes to fight them.
Garou is a former disciple of Bang, but was kicked out from his dojo for going on a rampage. Because of his fascination of monsters and his hatred of heroes, he is commonly called the Human Monster and the Hero Hunter. Sitch of the Hero Association views him as a grave threat to the organization despite being only human.
In One Punch Man Season 2, Garou will play a big role throughout the anime as he aims to take down all the high ranking heroes one by one as a way of proving that he is the most powerful being on the planet
As the series progressed, “One-Punch Man” began expanding its cast of characters, some of whom became more prominent as allies alongside Saitama and Genos. One of those allies was Bang, who was one of the few to recognize and acknowledge Saitama’s true strength. Season two could will find a few more allies to hop on board as the two continue their heroic careers, be they skeptics to the titular character’s powers or admirers of same.
While we may see more of Bang, who remains one of the more grounded S-Class heroes, as well as the top-ranked C-Class hero known as Mumen Rider, we will also be introduced to some additional characters in the fold for Saitama and Genos to play off of which add further development to the story, and add for many more unforgettable moments.
The Monster Association is the exact opposite to the Hero Association with the sole purpose of creating strong monsters to take over the world and extinct the human race. The Monster Association is a Mysterious Beings group led by Gyoro Gyoro and Monster King Orochi. Not much is known about it, except that they are the antithesis of the Hero Association.
There are five primary objectives of the organization:
