Anime Fans Nagalak nang Inilabas ang mga ‘Teaser Photos’ Ng Bagong ‘Yu Yu Hakusho’ OVA

After more than a decade, it seems that the creators of Yu Yu Hakusho are getting ready for a continuation.

Before the dawn of addicting Korean dramas and telenovelas, there was Japanese anime. Filipinos fans would gather in front of their television to watch the ever-awaited “Ghost Fighter” or better known to fans around the world as Yu Yu Hakusho. Yu Yu Hakusho is the story of Eugene (Yusuke Urameshi), a teenage delinquent who is struck and killed by a car while attempting to save a child’s life.

Eugene is revived and appointed the title of “Underworld Detective”, with which he must investigate various cases involving demons and apparitions in the human world. One of his greatest foes was Taguro (Toguro), is a human turned demon shapeshifter.

Today, more than a decade has passed and still, Ghost Fighter is popular among Filipino (and international) fans. As a matter of fact, a cosplayer recently gained fame on social media after netizens poked fun at his “Taguro” imitation.

With this at hand, there is no surprise that many fans are now super excited after screenshots from the upcoming Yu Yu Hakusho Original Video Animation (OVA) were released on social media. Fans couldn’t wait for the release of the said OVA, especially when it seems like the artist maintained each character’s original look.
