Utopia has finally been achieved through nanotechnology and powerful ethics of social welfare and mutual consideration. However, three girls stand up to totalitarian kindness and super medicine by starving themselves. It doesn’t work however, as only one of the girls, Tuan, survives and eventually becomes a member of the World Health Organization. A crisis threatens the harmony and Tuan is reunited with one of the girls and they join to save the planet.

It has been a while since Alphamon appeared and the town of Odaiba has begun restorations. The DigiDestined are taking a trip to the hot springs to make their new members Meiko and Meicoomon feel welcomed. All but Joe. Joe is stuck between the reality of his college entrance exams and being a DigiDestined. An infected Digimon, Ogremon appears and Mimi and Palmon jump into action. Koushirou tries to hold them back but they continue on, unaware of the consequences of their battle. On the day of their highschool festival, a man appears. Another adventure begins.
