Dr. Stone Comes to Life in TV Anime Teaser Promo and Visual

 

Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi’s Dr. Stone manga is getting an anime adaptation next year, with the series officially set to kick off in July of 2019. This weekend’s Jump Festa ’19 event came through with some fresh info, including a new visual, cast info, and a teaser trailer.

Among the voice talent announced for the cast are Makoto Furukawa (Saitama in One-Punch Man) as Taiju Oki, Kana Ichinose (Ichigo in DARLING in the FRANXX) as Yuzuriha Ogawa, and Yuichi Nakamura (Gray in Fairy Tail) as Tsukasa Shishio. One fateful day, all of humanity was petrified by a blinding flash of light. After several millennia, high schooler Taiju awakens and finds himself lost in a world of statues.
