Free! Sequel Anime Confirms Summer 2018 Broadcast!

A new season of the popular swimming anime Free! will start airing in July 2018 with the title Free! -Dive to the Future-. The series has revealed a new key visual along with a short teaser video.

The teaser starts with the text ‘University Arc. A new summer starts’, followed by a re-introduction to the main characters, their swimming styles, and their cast. The trailer also reveals a part of the staff and that the theme song will be ‘Heading to Over’ by Oldcodex. You can find the cast and staff members listed below!

The first season of Free! aired in 2013 and received a sequel, Free! Eternal Summer, in 2014. It later spawned a prequel movie titled High Speed! Free! Starting Days! as well as the compilation films Free! Timeless Medley Kizuna and Free! Timeless Medley Yakusoku. A new movie titled Free! Take Your Marks aired in Japanese cinemas in October 2017.
