Luffy’s Influence in One Piece World

Following the events of the Whole Cake Island Arc, Luffy’s achievements were compiled, inflating his reputation greatly. Though his capabilities were slightly exaggerated by the press, his achievements were great enough for him to be unofficially titled the “Fifth Emperor of the Sea”.

Most people think that “he’s not ready yet”, but that is only true in terms of raw strength. However, Luffy is by far the youngest Emperor, so obviously that problem will solve itself. Let’s talk about his (potential) allies:

• Vivi and Carue, as they traveled with the crew for almost the entire Alabasta Saga, and even considered permanently joining them but due to her promise it seems that she is always welcome back.

• Trafalgar D. Water Law and the Heart Pirates who formed the first pirate alliance with the Straw Hats.

• The Kozuki Family and Mink Tribe who later join them to form the Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai Alliance.

• The Whitebeard Pirates and their allies, who despite only allying themselves with Luffy in Marineford due to the order of the captain, continued to protect him saying that they will fulfill their father’s final order.

• The Straw Hat Grand Fleet who increase the Straw Hats’ power and reputation in the New World.

• Among the following, there are more notable people: Shanks, Bentham, Monkey D. Dragon, Sabo, Koala, Silvers Rayleigh, Boa Hancock, Shiraoshi, Perona, Mihawk, Emporio Ivankov, Inazuma, Bartholomew Kuma, Sabo, Bellamy, Vinsmoke Reiju, Charlotte Pudding, Capone Bege, Charlotte Chiffon, Zeus

• Among the following, there are more notable Organizations: Germa 66, Sun Pirates, Red Hair Pirates, Fire Tank Pirates, Kuja Pirates

With half of the main characters behind his back, it seems impossible for any of the Yonko to even compete with Luffy. In Whole Cake Island we saw that the Big Mom Pirates were absolutely overpowered if it wasn’t for Big Mom’s insane strength. And that was only a side mission without half of his crew or allies.
Will this be different when he faces Kaido or Blackbeard? If he continues on gathering allies in this pace, I don’t even see the entire World Government competing here.
