Takahiro Sakurai Joins the Cast of “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” TV Anime

Voice actor Takahiro Sakurai has joined the cast of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, an ongoing TV anime that adapts the series of popular fantasy light novels written by by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah about an ordinary salaryman who finds himself reincarnated in a magical world as a humble slime. Sakurai provides the voice for Diablo, a mysterious, unindentified man.

The original That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime light novels are published in Japan by Micro Magazine under their GC Novels imprint, and an English language version of the series is also available from Yen Press. The That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime TV anime is directed by Yasuhito Kikuchi and features animation production by 8-bit.

 

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is currently broadcasting Japan and streaming on Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll describes the story of the series as follows:

Corporate worker Mikami Satoru is stabbed by a random killer, and is reborn to an alternate world. But he turns out to be reborn a slime! Thrown into this new world with the name Rimuru, he begins his quest to create a world that’s welcoming to all races.
