Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is in its Chūnin Exams arc right now. Fans have waited a lot for this arc to finally begin, and it delivered as well. I think it is safe to say that it outclasses both the movie and the manga by a mile. If there is one definite canon on the Momoshiki arc that we need to go by, I think it should be the anime. It includes Kishimoto’s original drafts, and the character development is so much better on the show than in the movie or the manga.
Recently, we got to see Kinshiki and Momoshiki Otsutsuki’s invasion in the anime, and they proved to be very powerful, as expected. Sasuke and Naruto couldn’t go all out, since that would blow away the Village along with the Otsutsuki.
Urashiki’s Rinnegan
However, we can see them going all out later on. Another interesting detail in the episode was Urashiki Otsutsuki’s introduction. He made his entry by attacking Mitsuki, and stealing his Sage Chakra. Later on, Gaara and Chojuro fought against Urashiki Otsutsuki and he seemed to do pretty well, while toying against them all the while. However, what interested everyone was the fact that Urashiki managed to unlock the Rinnegan to escape one of their Jutsu.
How he has got a Rinnegan on his left eye is unknown. The Rinnegan is pretty similar to what Sasuke Uchiha has on his left eye, the only difference being that it is red in color.
Urashiki’s Rinnegan Revealed In Boruto Episode 62
With the Rinnegan, I think it is safe to say that Urashiki Otsutsuki is stronger than Momoshiki Otsutsuki, and Kinshiki Otsutsuki. However, he may be weaker than fused Momoshiki. We still don’t know how powerful his Rinnegan is, and how strong his Jutsu are. It’ll be a while before we see Urashiki Otsutsuki go all out, but once we do, it’s going to be incredible. I don’t think he’ll be involved anymore in this arc, but be may be making an appearance later on, in his own arc. That’s just my thoughts on Urashiki.
